We Finally Get to See Starlink: Battle for Atlas In Action

A new multiplatform IP called Starlink: Battle for Atlas was revealed as coming to Switch days ago, but we really haven’t seen much of the game in action. That’s no surprise, given that it doesn’t release until sometime in 2018. That being said, we have a bit of a interview above that also happens to show the game off-screen. It’s notable they are using an Xbox One in this case to showcase it, but it at least lets us see what the game is like.

It makes me very excited, it looks really fun but… the cost of it worries me… I also worry how much you would need the miniatures, as being mandatory would make the game hardly portable.

    • They aren’t required – all ships can be attained in game as digital content. Also, if you own physical – once you port that ship or parts in, you don’t have to keep reconnecting it. They are just showing off the hot swapping as that’s probably something that would appeal more to the intended age group of 8-11, while most adults would just throw the items in the game and then disconnect the ship attachment entirely.

They really thought it out. Guess now I can look forward to it without worries 😛
