Switch Doubters, It’s Time to Stop Making Facts Up to Predict Doom & Gloom

Look, Nintendo Switch isn’t a perfect platform. It has issues galore like basically any platform does. The online system (just the general system, not the eShop) is still pretty archaic, it not allowing us to use a web browser yet is strange, and heck… hulu over netflix? This is before we obviously get into the fact it’s a considered a portable home console that has questionable performance on some titles (which come down to the desire to push pretty visuals first, over smooth 60 fps). Heck, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has issues as well. So there is plenty to criticize.

What we don’t need to hear however is 100% made up “facts” that “guarantee” Switch is going to bomb in 2018. In this video, we do a late response to Rerez, who not only projected the Switch would fail before launch (not a failed launch month, just a quick fall off after), but in September made it sound like there was NOTHING Nintendo could do to turn around the Switch or even maintain it in 2018.

The video above addresses all of that and responds directly to Rerez’s thoughts he presents here.
