Star Fox 2 Developers Celebrate the Games Release

Star Fox 2 has been a game that has never been released until now. It will be released with the SNES Classic and everyone is ecstatic about its release. This also includes the developers who will finally get to see people play their game. They went out drinking to celebrate this occasion. In an email sent to Kotaku, Dylan Cuthbert, programmer of Star Fox 2, says:

Totally weirded out and totally psyched. I mean, I had completely given up on the chance that it might come out. I spent two years of hard work making it and loved every minute. Finally people get to see all the little cool tweaks and things, all the touches and special ideas we threw in there. This game had so much experimentation at the start and that really shows in some of the encounters you’ll come across.
I hope people don’t think they cleared the game with just one playthrough! In that sense, it is a very unique game.”

Are you as excited as these guys to finally be playing this game?

Dylan Cuthbert did not program Star Fox 2. He worked on a much later 3DS port of Star Fox 2, which still has not been released and will not be released.

    Details matter, nitnendo prime.
