Sony’s Stance Against Cross-Play with Switch and Xbox is Ridiculous

Apparently, Sony thinks they are onto something. Above I discuss what is going on and why this is extremely anti-consumer. In case you missed it, Switch will have crossplay with both Minecraft and yes… Rocket League. Well sort of, as Sony has blocked both and given some absolutely ridiculous reasoning, specifically targeting and attacking Microsoft. Naturally, Microsoft responded and did so quite well, explaining that this is completely the wrong type of conversation we should be having in 2017.

I’ll start posting offensive content on minecraft from my xbone for kids to see on their Switches

crossplay for rocket league between PlayStation and PC already exists, as for Xbox and Switch, I’m unsure on how that will work

You know what’s funny? Some Sony users might decide to pick up a Switch because of this. If anything, Sony is encouraging their fanbase to purchase consoles other than theirs. This whole situation makes me happy I’m an Microsoft secondary rather than a Sony secondary.
