SEGA’s “Road to 2020” Includes Revival of Major IPs

SEGA is finally dipping back into its massive wealth of all time classic IPs it appears if their “Road to 2020” report is to be believed. They control the rights to many all time greats, with the Nights series personally standing out. They plan to revive many of these franchises as part of a survival technique beyond their currently successful franchises and endeavors into mobile. They plan to do this revival across all gaming platforms, from phones and PC to game consoles. We can only assume with how closely SEGA has worked with Nintendo in recent years that their console efforts would take the Nintendo Switch into consideration.

Which classic SEGA franchise do you want to see them revive?

Old post now, but I’ll comment. I’m thinking Alex Kidd (without the Janken aka rock/paper/scissors aspect hopefully). Shinobi, Alien Syndrome, Golden Axe, Wonder Boy, Crazy Taxi, maybe a 3D Fantasy Zone game are others I would look forward to. Very unlikely, but even a sequel/update to the really old Congo Bongo. I’d want to say Phantasy Star as well, but I really don’t have time for RPGs anymore, not that I was *really* ever into them (in general).
