Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Head to 3DS on November 17th

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon were announced in today’s Nintendo Direct and are the only new main series Pokemon games releasing this year (Sorry, Pokemon Stars hopefuls). The games are brand new stories in the Sun and Moon world with new Pokemon too. We don’t have a ton of details for the games just yet beyond a release date, though there was a small clip of gameplay at the end of the Pokken Tournament Deluxe announcement which you can watch below – it begins at the 2:58 mark:

Nathanial Rumphol-Janc

A veteran in the video game media sphere, Nathanial co-founded Gamnesia, founded MetroidWiki.org, ran the news the segment on the Zelda Universe Podcast, found and ran Zelda Domain from 1998 to 2006, and built Zelda Informer as the Editor-in-Chief from 2008 to 2017. He now owns and operates Nintendo Prime. You can follow him on twitter @NateJanc, otherwise just stay tuned at Nintendo Prime for more of his work.

I think this was specifically announced so they could avoid making a third iteration for the Switch. Strange how they’re going the Black 2 and White 2 route, though. Still, never know what E3 will bring.
