People in Japan Desperately Want A Nintendo Switch

One of the issues that Nintendo is having with the Nintendo Switch is that there is not enough supply. I was at BestBuy the other day and there were parents who wanted to buy a Nintendo Switch for their kid but were unable to do so because there isn’t any available. That little kid left the store crying.

Another place where there is low supply is Japan. In a lottery held over the weekend, there was more than 3000 people in line to get one at Akiharabara Yodobashi. The store only had 250 units available.

Just look at all the people trying to get one. Some good news came out of this. According to Nintendo Everything, one family was upset that they didn’t win the lottery.  A person who won the lottery gave the ticket to that family. How long have you been waiting to get one?

Though it sucks for people that don’t have one yet that it’s so tough to find, it warms my heart that the Switch is doing so well.
