Nintendo Will Have an eShop Sale Because of The Game Awards 2016

Over the past two years, Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation have all held various sales during and for a little bit after The Game Awards show. These sales have typically been related to the games nominated in the show, but have extended a bit beyond them too. One major platform holder that remained out of these sales was Nintendo. This year however, that isn’t the case, as Nintendo will be discounting games during and shortly after the show on the eShop.

We currently don’t know which titles these will be, though given that Fire Emblem Fates has some nominations it’s safe to assume those titles will be included. The Game Awards 2016 launches in just under 24 hours.
