Nintendo Dominated Amazon’s Top 10 in 2017, SNK is Making a Switch Game, & More (Daily News Recap 1/1/18)

Welcome folks to our first ever daily news roundup, fullfilling one of our promises here at Nintendo Prime in 2018. Forgoing a zillion posts a day, this post will serve daily as your one and only needed source for all of the biggest and most important news regarding Nintendo on a daily basis. The biggest stories will be summarized while the smaller ones will just have headlines with hyperlinks out to the sources if you want to learn more. Nintendo Has Best Selling Hardware on Amazon, Owns 7 of Top 10 Software Spots for 2017

Here’s the list for software:

  1. Super Mario Odyssey
  2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
  4. Horizon Zero Dawn
  5. Call of Duty: WWII (PS4)
  6. Call of Duty: WWII (Xbox One)
  7. Splatoon 2
  8. Pokémon Ultra Sun
  9. Pokémon Ultra Moon
  10. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Wii U)

Switch also naturally was the #1 selling hardware and it wasn’t close, though we don’t have exact numbers. You can verify all of this here.

Rumor: SNK Has a Game in the Works for Switch

Not much to say here other than what the title describes. Emily Rodgers, rumor extraordinaire that nailed a bunch of pre-announced Switch rumors, is saying SNK has a Switch game in the works. Your guess is as good as ours.
