Detective Pikachu Movie Picks Up Ken Watanabe

Ken Watanabe is an actor you may recognize from The Last Samurai, but some will soon know him from Detective Pikachu’s big screen adventures. The Hollywood Reporter claims Watanabe will perform in the upcoming video game movie as Detective Yoshida. He will join other actors such as Ryan Reynolds as Detective Pikachu, Kathryn Newton as the female lead, and Justice Smith as the male human lead.

Reggie Talks About Nintendo Labo’s Relation to VR

It’s not meant to be some sort of competitive answer (to virtual reality). It’s meant to be something totally unique, totally unexpected.

We do believe that there will be experimentation that some of these communities will do on their own. And from our perspective that’s a good thing.

At the core of everything we do, the goal is to make people smile.

Indian Video Games May Come to Switch

Apparently, Nintendo has been visiting game studios in India to see about bringing their games to Switch. What’s interesting is the fact Switch hasn’t officially released in India as of yet, with consumers having to import.
