Coffin Dodgers… a Kart Racer for “Teenagers” – Has Released on Switch

Where has this game been all my life? It has been available on Xbox One, PS4, and Steam since May 2016. Although to be fair to me (and assuming most of you out there as well) it just released today, 3/13/18, on the Nintendo eShop for $12.99 + tax.

According to its’ developer, Milky Tea, Coffin Dodgers is “designed as the ‘Mario Kart’ for teenage audiences who love hit TV shows like Family Guy and The Simpsons, Coffin Dodgers has unique kart-racing features, including hand-to-hand combat, rag doll physics and the setting of an open 3D world.” The game is set in a retirement village called Sunny Pines. All things seem wonderful until the Grim Reaper decides to start collecting souls. A group of the seven bravest residents gather and come to the conclusion that you are too young to die and therefore challenge the Grim Reaper to a mobility scooter race to the death. Play as one of those seven brave residents as you race against the Grim Reaper and others to save your soul. Hurl projectiles or wack the other racers with your cane in this wacky game. Watch the trailer below and let me know down in the comments what you think about this game.
