Resident Evil producer Masachika Kawata has finally spoke out on if Resident Evil, particularly Resident Evil 7, will be heading to Nintendo Switch. If you recall, a rumor surfaced some time ago stating that it was happening. Well, it sounds as if nothing is in the works, even as they are intrigued by the system. Here is what he said to Express.co.uk:

“I think it’s a very unique piece of hardware,” producer Masachika Kawata explained.

“I’m looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding Resident Evil on Switch.”  – Masachika Kawata
