Breath of the Wild’s 1.2.0 Update Adds in Dual Audio
Before Breath of the Wild launched, it was rumored that the game would have dual audio. As in, you can have the text be in English but listen to the Japanese audio for the voice acting (just as an example). Unfortunately, this turned out to not be the case. However, it does appear the development team was listening to feedback about this feature and in a new update released today, Breath of the Wild now officially supports dual audio for 9 languages. Here is the rundown:
This is obviously great news. Here’s a look at it on Switch in the in-game menu:
Thanks for listening to your fans! For Wii U purchasers, you’ll need to go to the eShop to access the update. It’s called a “voice pack”.
