Nintendo is definitely going all out in their advertising campaign for the Nintendo Switch. First they had a Super Bowl commercial hit yesterday on national TV. Now they have ads plastered all over Tokyo Station in Japan, their largest public transit system. The ads feature Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and the system by itself. They are large, impressive, and extremely hard to miss.
Of note, I’ve seen a lot of Switch advertising at Walmart, Best Buy, and GameStop. It will be interesting to see if Nintendo continues this hard of a push for Switch and its games after release. Nintendo has briefly stated they currently have a 15 month advertising plan underway. Check out the rest of the ads in the gallery below.
