Earlier this week, or last week depending on how you count your weeks, we reported during a Prime 5 episode on our YouTube channel that industry veteran and journalist, Jeff Grub, talked about how he was pretty positive The Wind Waker HD & Twilight Princess HD would be coming to a Nintendo Direct this month, as well as assuming Breath of the Wild 2‘s title would get revealed. Of course, the latter of this came across as purely a guess, while the former seemed to come from his own sources and was corroborated by his cohosts own sources on his show, The Last of the Nintendogs.
However, the tides have shifted yet again as Jeff Grub guested on a podcast last night called Nintendo Shack Crew and added new information to the mix, in particular when it came to Breath of the Wild 2:
“…A lot of Zelda stuff, now I said the word “blowout” everyone is hyper-fixated on [that]…I don’t know what their [Nintendo] exact plans are, I suspect, and it’s been intimated to me… this is probably happening that we will probably get the name of Breath of the Wild 2, and we will also get the ports of the Wii U HD transfers of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.”

This now goes beyond simply guessing, which is what he implied during his own podcast, to specifically saying it was hinted directly to him from his sources that Breath of the Wild 2‘s name will be revealed at the direct. He didn’t stop there, corroborating another rumor we talked about in a different episode of the Prime 5 posted just yesterday about It Takes Two coming to Nintendo Switch.
“…It Takes Two will be coming to the Switch, that’s the one of the games I’ve heard, yes – will be in the Direct, so yeah – there should be a lot in there, it should be pretty big, it should be much bigger than the series of stuff they [Nintendo[ did throughout the summer when they didn’t have a real general Direct, so it’s exciting and I’m looking forward to it.”

No “maybe” here, he’s certain It Takes Two is on its way to Switch during this Direct. Since none of this can be verified by us this will remain a rumor, but it sounds like this month’s Nintendo Direct could be one for the ages.
