Nintendo have announced that Monster Hunter Stories, the latest entry to the Monster Hunter series, will be available on September 8. There will be a demo on the eShop on August 10. This game was released in Japan last year and there was also some amiibo made for this game.

Nintendo has announced that a new Mario themed 2DS with red and white colors will be releasing on August 25. This will come with New Super Mario Bros 2. It will cost $79.99.

Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You Coming to Theaters

There is going to be a new Pokémon movie coming to theaters for two days on November 5 and 6.  This movie is called I Choose You and it will be a retelling of Ash’s origins. This press release comes from Fathom Events, who has the rights to this movie.

Nintendo Switch Online App Has Been Installed by Approximately 17% of Switch Owners

In a new report by Sensor Tower, they look at how many Switch owners have downloaded the Nintendo Switch Online App.

In the first 10 days following the app’s launch, Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates that Nintendo Switch Online has been installed approximately 780.000 times worldwide, or by about 17 percent of all Switch owners. The installs break down fairly evenly between the App Store and Google Play, at approximately 400,00 and 380,00, respectively.

This number has potential to grow if Nintendo has more games that use this app. The only game that currently requires use of this app is Splatoon 2.
